Guinness Steak Pie by Johnny's Kitchen



It is unseasonably chilly here in Baltimore and I don't like it! Normally we have a few more weeks of warm weather but it has been so dreary one scarcely wants to leave the house. However, the nip in the air is the perfect excuse to make some serious comfort food. Johnny of Johnny's Kitchen shared his technique for making Guinness Steak Pie with me and it looks wonderful. I love the idea of topping it with a bit of (pre-made)puff pastry instead of a more time consuming and heavy one. It takes this pie from a weekend-only treat to one you could make every day.
