Chocolate Peanut Butter Chess Pie by Love and Olive Oil
Yes, I know. Another chess pie. Given the frequency I've been coming across and posting about chess pies, I'm becoming convinced that there is some sort of chess pie fever going on. This one looks really good, though, it combines best buds chocolate and peanut butter to make something that looks pretty darn special without being too tricky to make. There is a peanut butter layer and what Lindsay describes as a "brownie batter" layer of chocolate on top. Perfect for a brownie lover or a peanut butter lover or anyone who loves over-the-top, rich desserts. Plus it is a great excuse to break out that springform pan you didn't know what to do with.
Snag the recipe over at Love and Olive Oil, it comes from the pastry chef at Capital Grille in Nashville, a restaurant that was on my list for my trip there in May but that I didn't get to visit. Now I'm really wishing I had.
